The Alpine DECL (Division Education and Clinic Leader) team is a group of highly trained instructors who are responsible for running the various Alpine clinics and assessments that the Division offers.

Originally from: Fort Dodge, Iowa

Year started Teaching: 1997

Why do you work in the ski industry? – Skiing is kind of fun. I enjoy getting to share a passion with others and still get to be outside in the snow. Free skis

What else do you do besides skiing? – Fly fishing guide, heli-skiing guide in Alaska, father of two boys, hunting with my chocolate lab Willy, bake oatmeal raisin cookies, over the road truck driver, talk about skiing, vacuum, brush teeth, crochet, play chess, laundry, yard work and reading.

If you could have lunch with any person in the world, who would it be and why? – My wife, I never get to see her…she is too busy skiing with our boys
