Registration & Change/Cancellation Policies

Registration Policy

Unaffiliated members are required to provide their own lift ticket/pass to clinics and exams. If you have a season pass, please check the dates you are attending against blackout dates.

Under most circumstances, registration will be open for an event up through two weeks (14 days) prior to the first day of the event, or until it reaches capacity. The registration deadline for all events is noted on their information page in the event calendar.

Registering after this two-week deadline will incur a $25 late fee and may only be done by contacting the office (admin@psia-i.org, 303-987-9390).

Clinics and exams require a minimum of four participants to run. In the event of fewer than four registrations, the event will be cancelled.

PSIA-AASI reserves the right to prioritize members who are actively instructing and currently employed at a member school. Unaffiliated members may be removed from events and waitlists to make space for those actively instructing.

Waitlist Policy

If an event fills, an online waitlist may be available; follow the link on the calendar’s event page to join it. A credit card on file is required in order to join the waitlist, and you will be automatically registered and charged for the event if a spot opens up. Your cost for the event will be “snapshotted” at the moment you join the waitlist. If an event fills, a waitlist is available to allow further registrations in case any participants cancel. 

If you add yourself to a waitlist, please remember that you are committing to attending that event should you get a spot.

• If a spot opens up in the event at least 7 days before the start date, you will automatically be enrolled and your credit card charged for the event.
• You will receive two notification emails, one confirming the event and one confirming the credit card charge.
• You will NOT automatically be cancelled from other waitlists for the same event type or other events on the same day.

You need to email or call us to be removed from the waitlists of other events if you are on multiple waitlists. We will follow the change/cancellation policy if you have not cancelled the waitlist and are enrolled in more than one event. Generally this means that it is risky to put yourself on multiple waitlists for the same day, or the same event type within two weeks of each other.

Change & Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your registration at least two (2) weeks before the date of the event, there is a $5 cancellation fee.

If you change or cancel your registration within two weeks of the event, you will be assessed a 50% fee.

If you change or cancel your registration within one (1) week of the event without a valid medical or bereavement reason in writing *, or if you give no notice that you will not attend, then there shall be NO refund. Cancellations can be sent by email (admin@psia-i.org), phone call or phone message (303-987-9390).

* For medical issues, a note from your doctor stating that you were unable to ski or ride on the day of your event is considered sufficient documentation. In case of bereavement, you will need to provide the name of the deceased and the name of the funeral home involved.
