One of a Kind Events in January & Beyond

We have several unique education events planned for this winter. It's not too late to sign up, so check out the following on our calendar:

Snowboard Steeps Camp, Jan 25-26 at Jackson Hole: Check out one of our most popular snowboard events; this camp is about riding steep terrain. We explore tactics vs. technique and how to use both in different situations to conquer steep terrain. Once we learn how to ride it, we will break down the elements so that you can teach it!

Alpine Pro Instructor Seminar, Jan 14-15 at Alta: This event features members of PSIA’s National Alpine Team. Improve your skiing and expand your professional knowledge. Breakfast and Après-ski presentation included.

Freestyle Specialist Level 1, Feb 9-11 at Park City: Join Intermountain and Rocky Mountain freestyle pros for this three-day camp and assessment for riders and skiers.

Member Schools Shout Out

Our adaptive schools (the NAC, Wasatch Adaptive, Higher Ground, and Ogden Valley Adaptive Sports) and their hosting resorts are pushing us into high gear with adaptive certification. In January, we have 3(!) Level 1 adaptive certification assessments, a Level 2, and a Level 3. Thanks to Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Park City, and Snowbird for supporting these events and our adaptive programs. This is a great time to get certified!

Jan 7-8: Adaptive Level 2 at Park City
Jan 14-15: Adaptive Level 1 at Park City
Jan 21-22: Adaptive Level 1 at Sun Valley
Jan 26-28: Adaptive Level 3 at Snowbird
Jan 27-28: Adaptive Level 1 at Jackson Hole

Scholarship Spotlight

Chris Brown

I used my scholarship on a Level 3 Basic Applied clinic. It was both helpful for me to shake the rust of summer off, but also helped me gain some clarity about the pace and activity of my outside ski as it rotates through the phases of the turn!

The Deadline to apply for a scholarship is approaching. Get your application in by January 24. Find out more on our website.
