Fall Rally - Online or In Person

Fall Rally will look a little different this year, but it will still give you a jumpstart on your education with topics sure to provoke your interest and inspire your teaching. There will be one online keynote on Friday followed by webinars Friday and Saturday, and outdoor breakout sessions on Saturday. You will attend the keynote and two other sessions of your choosing. Attend from home or inperson and design your own experience. You can even add the option of attending all online events and two in person.

Confirmed sessions include:
- Keynote with Eric Lipton
Blazing a New Trail: Insights and Perspectives for the 20-21 Winter.

Webinars:
- The Learning Connection Model & Communication with Kim Peterson
- People Skills 201: Separating Observation from Interpretation with Ann Schorling

In-Person Classes (Trailside Park, Park City):
- Fireside Chat on Diversity in Snowsports with Martin Drayton and Eric Rolls
- Self Leadership Workshop with Stephen Helfenbein
- Lessons that Can’t Fail with Kim Peterson

Active Clinics:
- Skate to Ski (available in both Park City and Jackson)
- Experiential Longboard
- Fitness for Winter
- Mountain Bike Ride

Registration is available on our website. Make sure to sign up before the price goes up on September 15! Due to COVID concerns, space is limited. Please note that masks are required by Summit County ordinance for in person events; if you are unwilling to wear a mask, please sign up to attend Fall Rally online.

2020-2021 Calendar

The calendar will also look different this year. We anticipate fewer on-snow events with a focus on certification. Multiple webinars will provide technical, teaching, and people skills topics throughout the season. We highly recommend attending Fall Rally, outdoor fall clinics, and fall webinars for CEUs if you are not currently working toward certification.

Snowboard Committee Chair Openings

The Snowboard Committee has two openings: Certification Chair and Board of Directors Liaison. More information on these positions can be found here.

Applications are due on September 14, 2020. If you are interested, please send applications to admin@psia-i.org.
