Ann Schorling

Biography

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Ann grew up as the child of parents who are ski bums at heart. When she was five years old, her father took a six-week sabbatical from practicing law to teach skiing at Keystone Resort in Colorado. That year, and every year afterwards, while her parents both taught skiing, she and her two siblings attended the Keystone ski school.

A ski instructor since 2003, Ann likes to say that she was raised with an unusual expectation for the number of days on snow each year. That number has increased to well over 200, as she currently spends her winters in Jackson Hole, and her “summers” working in Ski Portillo, Chile. Ann works for the intermountain division as the current Nordic Discipline manager, a Nordic DECL, and an Alpine DECL.
