The Alpine DECL (Division Education and Clinic Leader) team is a group of highly trained instructors who are responsible for running the various Alpine clinics and assessments that the Division offers.

Favorite Skier or Snowboarder: Candide Thovex
Why do you work in the ski industry? I can remember my first time on skis and every time between. Memories that don’t fade, they don’t get “old”- they become part of a greater line of turns, falls, jumps, and powder filled stashes- helping even one more person, child, youth, adult or instructor capture a bit of that same love- well that is why I show up each time.
What else do you do besides skiing/snowboarding? Surfing the mountain lakes in summer and selling the boats that power them, owner/ operator of The Pines at Island Park in Island Park Idaho, cherishing time with my budding family and friends.
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why? My daughters and wife- they have my whole heart- and if we could find them… those first “Riders of Snow” that strapped some sticks on their feet- I’d say thank you and ask if they had any idea it would become our beautiful industry today!!
