Course Description:
Come and enjoy a half-day of mountain biking with us. In this 4-hour session, you will be coached by certified PMBIA Mountain Bike Skills Coaches.
Beginning on a cement surface you will receive coaching on skill work including body position, cornering, bike / body separation, braking, and deliberate wheel lifts. Trail and obstacle practice will will be followed by trail riding. The practice environment may include high speed corners, obstacles, and climbing techniques.
Learning outcomes include:
- Improvement of Mountain Bike skills
- Experience and understanding dynamic fitness of MTB in the mountain environment
- Learn the similarities between MTB and Skiing
- Have fun
EBikes are allowed in Corner Canyon but not in Park City.
However, you need to be prepared to do the clinic portion on cement with the ebike.
All PSIA-AASI members must follow the PSIA-AASI code of conduct.
All members participating in an Intermountain clinic or assessment must wear a helmet when sliding on snow using lift-accessed terrain.
