Biography

Originally from Connecticut, Nate grew up skiing at Ski Sundown and Mount Snow before his family moved to Santiago, Chile.  The Andes mountains are where he caught the ski bug! While attending Syracuse University, Nate started instructing at Labrador Mtn in 1999.  Soon after graduating, he went south again to work at Valle Nevado, Chile as an instructor and ski tech.  Adaptive ski instruction became the primary purpose.  Getting the wind back in someones face after an injury is always a unique and fascinating endeavor.  Also, he has guided extended inbounds and backcountry tours in Chile and Argentina.  Since 2007, Nate has called Victor, ID home. Travel, great food, friendships and skiing go hand in hand.

Why do you work in the ski industry?  Sharing the experience of moving on snow is almost as fun as doing it myself!
What else do you do besides skiing?  Riding anything on two wheels, working on my non-profit Valley Adaptive Sports to benefit adaptive sports in Teton Valley, ID, walking my two dogs.
